SEVEN. This blog is not affiliated with Doctor Who, the BBC, David Tennant, or Big Finish Productions. However, my portrayal & my headcanons are my own: please refrain from taking them for yourself.

EIGHT. My portrayal of the Doctor is canon-divergent. I'd love to discuss alternatives to certain canon events with other muns who are down for it.

NINE. Please understand that I am mutuals-only for my own comfort & sanity. This means that I will only write with blogs that I follow and who follow me in return. Do not interact with my writing calls if we do not follow each other.

TEN. If I follow you & you have no interest in interacting, please hard-block me so I know where we stand & don't accidentally follow again.

ELEVEN. Tumblr DMs can be annoying to use, so I give my Discord to mutuals upon request.

TWELVE. I write in the third person. I use small text and italics/bold. I use icons with borders. I do not expect my writing partners to do this, I just think it looks nice. All I ask is that you trim your posts & continue asks in a new thread. I also tend to write multi-para replies. No one really needs to match length so much as give me something to work with.

THIRTEEN. I am OC and duplicate friendly! Throw your OCs at me. The only exceptions are OC children of the Doctor, which I will be rather selective about.

FOURTEEN. I’m super interested in throwing the Doctor into all sorts of crossovers. I am familiar with Good Omens, much of the MCU, Legend of Zelda (BOTW + TOTK), Fire Emblem (3H), the Borderlands Franchise, IT (Stephen King), Detroit: Become Human, Baldur’s Gate 3, DnD 5e, Lucifer, & more.

FIFTEEN. I will not ship with anyone unless our characters have some sort of chemistry going on & we have had words about it ooc. It's unlikely to happen but not impossible. I will not write romantic ships with anyone under 18. I also don’t really want to ship the Doctor with any muse who isn’t at least 22. While both mun & muse are of age, there will be no smut on this blog. The Doctor really could not be bothered— they’re ace.

SIXTEEN. This blog is multiverse, so unless otherwise discussed between muns, all interactions with different blogs are considered to be separate universes, so to speak.

SEVENTEEN. I probably won’t be reblogging many ask memes here because I always end up accumulating too many & getting overwhelmed. The best way to interact is by liking starter calls or by plotting! In fact, plotting is my lifeblood & I will rarely write without it. So don't be shy to hop into my DMs! I promise I don’t bite.

Back in 2021, we unexpectedly became parents to two amazing teenagers. Raising them while navigating our own twenties, especially as a queer couple in the South, has been a rollercoaster. To protect our family, we've made the tough decision to move to a new state.

We've worked hard to save, and we were ready to go. The problem is, the final stretch is proving to be the most challenging. Moving expenses are piling up, and a recent car repair has set us back. We’re facing a tight deadline to pay rent, and my car payment is past due/unpaid

We all have jobs at the moment, either set to start soon or in onboarding- but until we get there and start and then wait for 2-3 weeks for a pay period to come, we have no way of paying it and we have to keep food on the table.

anything at all is appreciated. as of updating this post ( 7/16/24 ) we made it to Chicago, and we have a bit of money partially in thanks to the GoFundMe! but rent is $3150, and we have less than a thousand at the moment and still need to get household necessities in the meantime.

Any help at all is huge. I also have scs of where the money is going if anyone wants to check the legitimacy

Hey so I wanna talk a bit more about my GoFundMe and also try my best to verify what the money's being used for

$825 was the move in fee ( $275 per adult, there's three of us )

$3150 for the first month of rent

$3150 for Augusts rent

Just shy of $800 for the uhual ( we luckily ended up getting a free upgrade which was really cool! I also got insurance bc it's a long trip and it's my first time driving a truck this big 😬 I've driven smaller uhauls but this is a 26' )

This alone surpasses what's the GoFundMe goal is already, but we personally had saved and worked really hard to try to make this possible. Rent is... *High,* for sure, but with a family this big we needed at least 4 rooms to meet foster standards ( due to their age and agabs they are not allowed to share a room ). I've been working on doordash, Uber, etc to try to make it. As of right now we're less than a fifth to our goal and we're moving tomorrow morning.

Please help if you can. Share if you can't.

Ok but Ruby having to use her white privilege to get information and get Lindy to listen to the Doctor. Lindy thinking black people all look the same to the point that she didn't question the Doctor popping up a second time until later on. Her being so shocked at him and Ruby being in the same room. Ruby and the Doctor saying things in the same tone and similar language but the Doctor is the one that gets called condescending and horrible.

Face to face contact with the Doctor being considered unacceptable and akin to contamination. Hoochie Pie calling the TARDIS voodoo. Lindy saying that it was the Doctor's duty to save her, but he "isn't like them" so they refuse to travel with him. Lindy's friends talking about taming and owning the wilderness like their ancestors did.

The episode wasn't themed around "boohoo social media". It's about how racist and colonialist structures permeate all of society and are damaging to everyone, and that the comments that people make are the tip of the iceberg that is their active bias and prejudice. I don't get how people don't understand that.
