Okay…
Why am I crying? Like, the writing wasn’t the most life changing thing I’ve heard. And yet. I just wanted to hug Jordan, who just wanted to play with his friends.
I’m crying for Lance.
I’m crying for TJ, whose brother was so sweet despite not knowing him or that they were related. I’m crying because his brother’s father was not so great the first time they met.
I’m crying for TJ’s mother, who TJ will never know. And for his father, who fought and clawed his way back to sobriety.
I’m crying for Martin, who cared and loved TJ so much that he did everything he could to figure out how to not only care for TJ but for TJ to learn how to care for himself.
I’m crying for Elijah McClain, and for every other similar death. Because I’ve seen too many… we’ve all seen too many.
I’m crying that Jordan, who might be getting a pretty great dad and foster brother.
Anyway…
We’re all agreed that Heather is Hugh and Christian’s sister, right?
Like even before Christian’s note, it was basically confirmed she was lying about how she got shot.
Are we all also agreed that the Evans siblings are all obsessed with Gabi?
I get it Heather, she is beautiful but calm down. You’d have to fight your weird ass siblings for her.
Also, so glad that Gina did take Lacey seriously. I appreciate it, and despite her being terrible previously (what with the usually open blinds, unlocked doors leading straight into her previously kidnapped daughter’s bedroom), she kind of was great here. I mean I get why she didn’t shoot him… there’d be no show. But still wish she had.
Also, I knew something was suspicious when she one, closed the blinds, and two, hesitated by the doors.
Loved seeing them pull one over on Hugh. Doofus. They all got over everything and talked about everything the previous episode. Margaret, did her Margaret vision cleaning to get rid of any leftover evidence. Of course it was fake. But you didn’t know that, because you were too busy getting hurt, lashing out at your brother, and plotting Gabi’s rushed kidnapping.
Annoying that we have to wait for the next episode… but honestly, I’m still waiting for 9-1-1 to come back from its hiatus. I can wait an extra week.
