Heather Cameron
Heather Leann Cameron, born on August 11, 1984, was last seen on August 18, 2012, in Shasta County, California. At the time of her disappearance, she was 28 years old, stood 5'6" tall, and weighed 115 pounds. She is a Native American female with brown hair and brown eyes. Cameron has several tattoos: a tribal flower design on her back, a girl on her left calf, and an unfinished tattoo on her right thigh. She is a member of the Grand Ronde Indian Tribe and may use her maiden name, Haller.
On the day she went missing, Cameron and her ex-boyfriend, Daniel Lusby, were in the vicinity of the Keswick Dam, a remote area approximately twenty minutes from Redding.
Starting at 2:50 p.m., she made three 911 calls from Lusby's phone, stating she had been drugged with heroin and needed assistance. A male voice was audible in the background during the calls. Despite an extensive search, no trace of Cameron was found. Lusby claimed they became separated, and she had his phone when they parted ways. He has been interviewed multiple times but has not been charged in connection with her disappearance.
Cameron may have been driving a gray four-door 2003 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck with California license plate number 8Z75740. Despite her struggles with substance abuse, she maintained regular contact with her four young children and their fathers. Her disappearance is considered suspicious, and her case remains unsolved.
If you have any information regarding Heather Leann Cameron's whereabouts, please contact the Shasta County Sheriff's Department at 530-245-6025.
