This sandwich combines crispy fried chicken with the sweetness of honey and the kick of hot sauce, all sandwiched between buttery biscuits. It's a perfect blend of flavors and textures.
Ingredients: 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts. 1 cup all-purpose flour. 1 teaspoon salt. 1 teaspoon black pepper. 1 teaspoon paprika. 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper. 1/2 cup buttermilk. 4 biscuits, split and toasted. 1/4 cup honey. 2 tablespoons hot sauce. 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened. Lettuce leaves, for serving. Sliced pickles, for serving.
Instructions: Pound chicken breasts to an even thickness, about 1/2 inch. In a shallow dish, mix together flour, salt, black pepper, paprika, and cayenne pepper. Dip chicken breasts in buttermilk, then dredge in seasoned flour mixture until coated. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Fry chicken until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side. In a small bowl, combine honey, hot sauce, and softened butter to make spicy honey butter. Spread spicy honey butter on toasted biscuit halves. Top each biscuit half with fried chicken, lettuce leaves, and sliced pickles. Close sandwiches and serve immediately.
