It’s bad enough that I live in the most conservative, backwater and under-developed shit hole in the Western world. Now I’m baking in it too, and not in a good way.

Imeet my psychologist in just over two hours. The last thing I feel like doing in this heat is catching public transport and trekking under the blistering sun to his goddamn office, but you gotta do what you gotta do.

I managed to moderate with the beer I bought yesterday; more specifically I’m only on the second pint yet. 

To be honest I just can’t wait for tonight so I can crack open my last cold one, wind the herb and watch ‘Game of Thrones’.

Decided to do something productive: take down the current curtains, wash them and hang new ones. 

I got as far as taking down the first curtain before my neck broke out in a legit heat rash.

Fuck this weather.

High of 39°C.; feels like 42°C+ or some shit. Does it really matter whether its 42°C, 44 °C or 46°C ? No; it doesn’t: it’s fucking hot regardless. 

Six days straight of being mostly confined to the air-conditioned bedroom, worse still the heat should persist until at least later this week.

Weather predictions for autumn and winter don’t look too good either. Higher than average temperatures as well as a lower than normal rainfall is expected.
