Writing Update ☀️✍️

Guys. GUYS. I finally finished moving into my new place and holy hell—this heat?? I am melting. I am sizzling. I am a croissant left in the sun. But it’s beautiful here. Spanish sounds like a goddamn poem every time someone talks to me, even when they’re yelling at me because I walked into the wrong building (true story).

But I digress—a lo que vamos.

WRITING NEWS!

Last month was surprisingly good to me. Chapter 2 is about halfway done, and I’m finally seeing the shape of this beast. Still need to add some choices and juicy branching, but the bones are there—and they’re looking spicy. 👀

Also, I may have seduced someone into helping me with some coding things I’ve been stuck on, so YES—progress is real and on its way. I still got it, baby. Wink.

Now that I’m settled in, I’m hoping to get more words out faster. I won't set a hard release date just yet, but if things keep going the way they are, you’ll be getting Chapter 2 sooner than you think.

Extra fun fact? I actually got tanned. TANNED. Not burned, not lobster-red, not hiding under a hat and praying for clouds. Tanned. It’s a miracle. Call the saints.

I have a theory.

The sexiest photograph from a shoot is very often not the one where she is trying hardest to look sexy.

Celina was getting wet for the next photograph. I kept shooting, and the preparation became the photograph.

Sindry was literally just looking for a bottle of water inside the tent.

Apparently hydration can be extremely photogenic.

Paulina was trying to open a tiny drink bottle. It refused to cooperate. She laughed. Suddenly the perfectly styled beach scene felt much more alive.

Dani was somewhere between two poses when she looked at me with a question I cannot even remember anymore.

And Yami was already posing when something I said made her laugh.

The pose was planned.

The laugh was not.

That is the thing I keep noticing. Sometimes the second nobody planned ends up feeling sexier than the photograph we were actually trying to make.

Some photos feel less like they were taken and more like they were accidentally sent to the wrong person.

Phone in the face.

Sun on skin.

One hand doing important legal work.

Nothing too polished. Nothing too staged. Just that dangerous little mix of casual, intimate, and “wait, should I be seeing this?”

Honestly, mirror selfies understand desire better than most photographers do.

Not because they are perfect.

Because they feel private, immediate, slightly chaotic, and a little too real.
