Divinity is the state of being divine. Porter Robinson’s Divinity is undoubtedly a divine song for the ages. But this brand new remix of Divinity by REZZ is nothing short of godly. The highly regarded production prodigy, who first premiered the edit live several weeks ago in Montreal, gives Divinity a signature REZZ treatment, complete with chunky synths and jarring drops. Anything REZZ makes is gold, much less a staggering remix of Porter like this cosmic anthem, easily one of the best electronic tracks we’ve come across lately. Matt Valentine - Fixate

Rising Phoenix-based production talent, Matt Valentine, drops off a wonderful chill trap original with this single, “Fixate.”

This is the first track we’ve heard from Matt, but we were immediately impressed upon first listen. Beginning with some touching melodic sounds and a nice use of vocal samples/effects to bring depth to the track, Matt quickly ups the ante building strongly with heavy kick drums until dropping us into a vibey, low-end driven chill trap drop. Everything about this just feels right and instantly ignites those shoulder shrugs. He carries this vibe until fading gently for a shirt break with a glistening arp line before bringing the heavy kick drums and bass line back in to round out a terrific effort.
