"He then is the Heavenly Man, the Door to direct communication with God, the Prophet of the most High, the Eternal Law, the Giver of Divine Light, our Saviour.
"So long as the Logos exists, He is the way of At-one-ment, the way of harmonizing humanity with God."
St. John saw this clearly when he writes for us these most significant words:
"In the beginning was the Logos and the Logos was with God, and the Logos was God.
"All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made.
"In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
"And the light shineth in the darkness and the darkness comprehended it not."
In the remainder of the first chapter he shows clearly that he knew Christ Jesus to be the Logos, for he says in these unmistakable words:
"And the Logos was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory, the glory of the Only-Begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth."
