@heavensliight and I both wore stripes this weekend??? Also we met butterflies and tarantulas (‘ranchos), saw Wonder Woman, and escaped to an embassy for air conditioning. 20/10 would do again

HOLY SHIT imagine andrei trying to find anatole through every life and slowly getting more and more discouraged and forgetting what it was like to love him until one day !! there he is !! except it’s been so long and he’s so Traumatized that he doesn’t know how to approach anatole any more so they just continue to suffer apart, just within reach but not quite able to come together :)

Rin is an attentive listener for once; the man’s speech is a bit difficult for him to understand, so it requires most of his focus. He doesn’t appear to be frustrated by this, or even unsettled by the stranger’s appearance— instead, his expression is one of sympathy. It’s not the same and nowhere near as bad, but he’s struggled with words himself plenty of times. How many times has he been laughed at for mangling yet another saying, or yelled at by teachers for how horribly he reads aloud? Rin isn’t in any position to judge.

And as far as appearances go... well, Rin isn’t exactly Mr. Normal himself. Most people assume the pointed ears and fangs are a part of a costume, thankfully, but that still leads to stares and awkward questions.

“Oh! It’s a good thing I’m a pretty loud talker then, huh?” Rin says with a grin, placing his hands on his hips.
