days had gone by since the kiss, and saffron still hadn't had the courage to pin down daisy. while saffron was 90% sure the other girl had enjoyed the kiss to a degree that saffron had, there was still that haunting 10% that was biting her in the ass and making her self conscious about everything. but if the kiss itself hadn't been the catalyst for her surety, the following days had rocketed that percentage up to 100% because daisy had been treating her so differently. gone was the giggling and the banter, gone was the friendly way in which they used to touch one another, gone was the talking; it was virtually radio silence. a tense radio silence that saffron couldn't let go on any longer. sighing, she sat down her script and rose from the seat in her trailer; she wasn't going to memorize lines very well if she couldn't concentrate. walking down the stairs, the air was mild outside and she tucked her arms close to her body self consciously as she walked to the trailer next to hers labeled 'daisy wolfe' on the door. she hesitated, wondering the woman was even there, before she reached forward and tentatively knocked. when it opened, saffron stood there for a second too long, just blinking up at her. "h-hi daisy," she greeted, voice catching on the syllables of the other woman's name in a way, "i was wondering if we could talk.." she knew the words weren't what the other probably wanted to hear based on the way they'd been with each other the past few days, but saffron couldn't wait any longer. her eyes found daisy's own before she glanced away, teeth finding her bottom lip before releasing it with a slight frustration in the movement. "it's just, we haven't really talked since..." she let it fade between them, eyes turning towards their surroundings - no one was around. "i just wanted to talk to you, i always.. wanna talk to you.." @heavenstrvck
