an unlit cigarette from an hour previous sits between wonky teeth, hands desperately fishing around in his pockets for a lighter for a few seconds before he’s able to relight it, smoke escaping tan, plump lips as he took a much needed inhale. he hates parties. well, correction — he hates the ones thrown by university students. still, he showed. free drinks and snacks, all whilst he’s making money? he couldn’t really complain all that much, and yet he still does. he knows he’d be a fool to miss out. after all, this is here the money surged.
his attention was misplaced, but he soon finds himself focused on something, no — on someone. he leaves his friend, the two of them being the only ones wearing a tracksuit, clearing himself a path between the surge of sweaty, grinding and intermittently chattering bodies. he shrugs them off, saying he’ll be back to sort whatever they needed in like, ten minutes. clearing his throat, he holds the cigarette between his index and middle fingers, empty hand lifting to tap against the blondes shoulder. “ hope i’m not interrupting anythin’, ladies... “ he speaks with an audible grin, smiling from ear to ear as he placed himself between her and her friend group. “ names ty, “ he extends a hand out to her then, offering her his characteristically lopsided grin as eyes twinkle with excitement. she’s gorgeous, breathtakingly so. he can only hope he doesn’t mess this up! “ if you need ‘owt sorting, just let me know, yeah? you and your friends. remind me of your name though, darlin’. i bet it’s pretty. “
