i got an appointment to get my tongue split in october! people with splits, what should i expect and what can i do to keep it from healing back together?

body mods!

so. i have tattoos and piercings and stretched piercings... and i’m kinda like “ok. that’s nice. but i also want some heavier mods.” because i’m never going to look conventional, so i might as well get pretty mods :3

i have a list, i’ve consulted a shop. i have pricing options. 

facial scarification - just a smallish section on the right side of my face. i want something that’s geometric and interesting to look at. 

i want a 0g (8mm) section dermal punched out of my conch. and then once it’s healed, i want to wear a ring through the hole. conch rings are honestly just the cutest. 

subdermal anchor-shaped implant into the back of my right hand. the lower half of my right arm only has one small tattoo on the forearm and a few around the wrist. i plan on getting a bit more done around the wrist area, but side from a sprawling knuckle tattoo across both hands, i want to keep the bottom half of that arm/hand blank. so anyway. since it’s going to be blank, i still want it interesting, and i really love how back of hand implants look. 

aaaaaand then i want my ears pointed. which i’ve wanted for years, but didn’t really know where to get them done or whatever, and i finally looked into it and found a shop and aw yiss ^_^

anyway. all of these things sound kind of fucking terrifying, but i’m fairly pain resistant so... let’s hope for the best?
