the reason why there's little discourse about gay men is because gay and bi men never separated their communities. lesbian separatism did a lot to kick bi women out and strip them of all their shared history. mlm who sleep with women just call themselves bi men because they don't have to worry about losing their community and history. bi women will call themselves lesbians because they feel that bi women don't have a right to their own culture and need the lesbian label to avoid the stigma
