Well! That was Hanshin!

I gotta say. I already LIKED the Hanshin Republic.

Now I LOVE the Hanshin Republic.

So. Much.

A lot of that is greater plot insight, but a good portion of that is also just personal growth on my end. I think it can sometimes be nice to re-experience media at a different part of your life and just fully know how far you’ve come and how much you’ve changed since the last time you were here. I would not go through those 8(?) years again even if you paid me but MAN is it nice to be on the other side of them. (current state of the world not withstanding)

I am secretly glad Koryo is shorter than Hanshin, but WOO that was juicy. I had a great time. And I hope you did too!

AU for Armored Soul.... IN SPACE???? :D

Heck! Yes! I will make it so!!

Isidor serves on board the starship Narheim alongside his fellow crew members Marthe, Garan, and Lothar. His mission: to help keep the galaxy safe from mysterious entities known as Ghosts. He’s part of an elite group who keep digital scans of their brains within the Narheim’s database, allowing them to “resurrect” into cloned bodies if they die in combat. These scans are updated as often as possible, essentially a backup of members’ entire lives.

But disaster strikes as Isidor dies, and his scan is accidentally uploaded into the onboard computer of a suit of power armor, usually used to explore deadly environments. Because of safeguards in place, he can’t shut down the power armor and re-upload to a cloned body…and even if he did, he has no brain to scan. All the memories he’ll make in armored form will vanish when he “resurrects” next.

Of course, this is when Ghosts pour from the dark places between the stars, led by a creature calling itself Paranoia. Isidor will need more than power armor to keep the galaxy safe.

Featuring: Dietlinde as an ace fighter pilot who wants to prove herself, Oskar as a space pirate turned cheerful helper, Rosalind as newly made Captain of the Narheim, Geralyn Hermann as Admiral of every vessel in the spacefaring fleet, Voltana as a stowaway with Many Secrets, and Robin as the chief engineering officer who complains about the systems she loves so much.
