OOOOOOH?? do tell!!! Ive always just headcanoned that they live at the temple cause that place is massive and they seemingly can only afford one minivan for the group, and because its funny lol Id love to know your house thoughts hehe
PREFACE that is kinda hilarious?? ofc Ken had a home since he had a family and we could guess all day about what the family units of the other Duel Masters look like, permitting that by Ken's example they aren't married solely to the cause and might have immediate family. SO if they do have homes of their own, which we cannot know for sure, I thought it would be fun to consider how they might be decorated. I will take any input if someone has strong thoughts on this I'm missing out on!!
DUEL MASTERS--LIVING SPACES
I feel like Nadia would have a really cool apartment?? Like with her dyed hair and her sleek outfit I think she would have such a chic and cyber kind of interior. Maybe it's dark with some cool LED decor. Could be very y2k vibes. I see her being organized but just having a Lot of stuff. Maybe one of those funky backlit aquariums, how frutiger of you Nadia--
I could see Kimora having a more warm, natural looking interior to his place, but my clearest part of that vision is him having a big sunroom and/or a big personal greenhouse. One of those cute indoor electric water features/mini fountains too.
Nigel's is like. Opressively white and creme colored. Barely looks lived in. Few plants that are all very carefully managed and upkept into neat trimmed shapes. Skylights. White couch. White kitchen stools. Obsessively cleaned and honestly might be kind of desolate-sterile as if it is only ever intended for one person to be there without company. Even if he had a personal study the shelves are thoroughly organized.
Chavez I kind of have a harder time imagining but I also think his place would look cool?? Like, framed posters for a lot of bands he likes, different rock groups. Stuff collected from visiting family. I feel like he would have a nice patio with a meditation area, maybe there's a firepit he can relax by. String lights to warm the evenings both inside and outdoors. He has one of those like wooden bead curtains for sure.
Jaha to me would have a borderline maximalist interior. Dark and draped with curtains, bells, chimes, charms. Entries marked with runes and sigils for protection from spirits, windows hung with herbs. I headcanon she might be from southeast asia and she's brought a lot of stuff from her folk beliefs from home. She may welcome darkness, but it's never a bad idea to keep out unwanted spirits. VERY strong incense smell.
