✘ who do they detest the most? do they typically avoid this person or antagonize them? honestly? probably himself. and i don’t mean that in some dark, edgy way; i just mean, arguably, he finds more fault in himself than with others. in general, he’s forgiving. he’s understanding. he’s empathetic. now, there are things he won’t tolerate (and he is a mafia boss. it’s not always fun.) but, he does his best not to hate the people who wrong him or his family. does he hate what they do? sure. but, he always tries to temper any negative feelings with understanding: why do people do the things that they do? the quality he finds hardest to forgive, though, is probably willful ignorance. ironic, huh?
👊 have they ever been involved in a physical fight? of course. he got his ass kicked (regularly) when he was younger, before he was trained and really came into his own. but, he can absolutely wreck now. there’s a reason he’s successful as a boss and it’s not just because he’s kind (though that is a huge part of it!) his people respect him because, when it comes down to it, he is capable of getting his hands dirty. and he will, without hesitation, if it comes to that… especially for someone else’s sake.
💞 what was their first love like? ha. he’s had a lot of crushes over the years, but love? questionable… until, of course, he knew and then he could tell the difference immediately. his first love was slow. so slow, in fact, that for a very, very long time (literally years-) he didn’t even realize it was happening. the shift was so natural that it was almost imperceptible. and then, once day, he found himself sitting at his desk looking at his phone, waiting on it to blink or ring or do something with this uncomfortable anxious feeling settled deep in the pit of his stomach. and that’s when it hit him. and suddenly, a lot of things just made sense. well, isn’t that neat?
💔 have they ever had their heart broken? if so, why or how did it happen? of course. if asked, though, his primary answers won’t have anything to do with romance. in fact, he would cite his most heartbreaking moments as the loss of each of his parents. the death of his mother was devastating on top of being a complete shock. and the death of his father was as much a death of self as the loss of a family member. and in both cases, he wasn’t given a lot of time to truly, properly mourn. he’s coped well, though. he always does.
💍 have they ever been engaged before? what broke it off if so? no. but, he’s spent much of his young life assuming that it will happen eventually. being who he is, getting involved with someone without marriage in the cards seems… risky. he’s seen what happens in succession wars and would like to avoid something like that happening to his family at all costs. but, even if drama wasn’t a part of it, i think he’d still like to get married someday (or at least have some tangible expression of love and commitment.) still, it’s not a necessity and it’s a huge relief when he realizes that.
💛 have they had sex? if not, are there any personal reasons why? yes. he’s not particularly experienced, though. he likes sex, but he’s never really stayed with anyone long enough to really enjoy the experience or, in most cases, even get that far. he’s not one to just fall into bed (as stated above, he wants and needs to be careful-) so, despite how often he’s dated, he’s only had a handful of notable experiences. but, he’s absolutely willing to amend that… with the right person, of course. and i can see him really wanting to work at it when given the chance. he’s a perfectionist at heart, after all.
