tales of crestoria verse menma, minato, kushina ( @pompedia​ ) & naruto ( @unosdeckofmuses​ ) goes a lil smthin like this...

menma & naruto, born to the chief of small hidden (ninja kekeke) village, both have unstable / volatile mana & they've basically been training their entire life to keep their mana in check & under control / learning how to control their mana better.

a training accident with the twins resulted in minato being critically injured---the incident was set up by one of minato’s advisors, wanting to get rid of minato & somehow either get rid of the twins or weaponize them for his own purposes. he couldn’t succeed in the latter, so instead he schemed to get rid of the family entirely. 

the incident was recorded on the advisor’s vision orb & broadcasted to the world, set up as though naruto and menma had murdered their father in cold blood. terrified, both the twins ran away from the village, thinking their father was dead. they were branded as transgressors immediately after, pursued by enforcers that they discarded with their special mana-infused attacks

meanwhile, minato was never killed in the first place!! kushina found him & healed him after the broadcast finished, then immediately began broadcasting themselves basically shaming the world for condemning children over an accident no one had the context for, but it backfired bc ppl started thinking it was all staged for clout basically :) so guess who became transgressors ✨✨✨ now theyre looking for their kids and yea
