💀 [Adrian has to get him back /eventually/]
Send me 💀for a drabble of my muse killing yours. (Very truuuee)
As time went on, Adrian slowly became less playful. Less tolerant of Mishka and his monstrosities. Those green eyes had darkened, the twinkle fading as he fell deeper and deeper into the truth of the Dream. It was not long until Adrian began to avoid the man altogether, even in the Hunts.
In fact, it was rare to see the freckled Hunter coming to Mishka’s aid, his cane nothing more than a blur in the air as he sliced the foes against them to pieces. All the blood in the air made for a pungent and dizzying cocktail, one that Mishka loved.
When the beastly hunter had turned on him, Adrian’s hands shook with rage and his teeth clenched with a thousand unsaid words. How dare this foul beast try this time and time again? Would this beast never learn of friendship? Instead of running like he usually would have, Adrian stepped up the challenge, his face impassive but limbs trembling. They were done playing.
Sensing the change in the air, Mishka snarled joyfully. Finally, the freckled Hunter wanted to fight him as he should? Good. He had been waiting.
As if two skilled monsters, they lunged at each other. Soon tactics faded into the background and the two were mindlessly clawing and slashing at each other like a couple of drunken wolves. Adrian danced about Mishka quickly, mindful of the damage those claws could cause. However, Mishka was always one to fight dirty.
Adrian chastised himself for a moment, having seen the beastly hunter crouch down in preparation only seconds before the roar burst free. Unable to stop it, Adrian was nearly knocked onto his ass when Mishka roared, the sound tearing through the darkened area and echoing dangerously through the halls of the old building. The freckled Hunter swayed where he stood, feeling as if his ears were bleeding.
Predictably, Mishka lunged towards his stunned opponent, and this time, it was Adrian’s turn to play a nasty trick. He was not nearly as stunned as Mishka assumed, and when the Hunter lunged, Adrian dropped down into a semi-crouch, body tensed and ready and more importantly, cane pointed forwards.
Propelled by body weight, Mishka was nothing more than an object to be skewered. The cane burst through his chest, peeking out from the fur on his back and decorating the floor in a spray of red. Adrian grunted as Mishka fell atop him, his weight sending the lithe Hunter tumbling to the ground.
A roar of unease and pain left Mishka’s bloodied lips, claws digging into Adrian’s shoulders as the taller Hunter thrashed below him, pinned by the body weight. Sneering, Adrian fixated his hands on the bladed cane and twisted, the edge of the weapon scrapping against bones.
‘It’s finished’ Adrian mouthed at his rival smugly, pushing the blade in deeper as he saw the surprised light begin to fade from Mishka’s eyes. Although drawing his final breath, Mishka wracked his claws over Adrian’s chest just to see the man’s body writhe in agony before darkness completely clouded his vision.
