After several years, you might think it would become clear that you liked your best friend. And weirdly enough, everyone had noticed but you, still the idiotic girl Seokjin was trying to win over by several gestures - it was funny for him to think that you just didn’t realize what you meant to him, although you both didn’t behave less than an old, married couple.
And tonight, when Jimin walked out of his room to catch you mid-cuddle during a movie yet again, he found it hard to keep himself together anymore, raising an eyebrow as he remarked how cute Seokjin looked with his girlfriend.
“He’s not my boyfriend, you moron!” you declared as you threw a pillow at his face. Seokjin tensed beside you, and you didn’t miss it as you watched Jimin groan and walk towards the bathroom grumpily.
Seokjin had had enough of these never-ending games. There was no way he’d wanted to hear this one sentence come out of your pretty mouth again. Gathering all his courage, he pulled you closer against his chest as he whispered, “why can’t I be? What if I want to be your boyfriend?”
His grip on you tightened and you looked over your shoulder to stare at him; his gaze was hard to decode - you couldn’t tell whether he was joking or not.
“Do you really?”
He didn’t answer. Instead, he smiled, his eyes wandering to your lips as he came closer, his hands brushing over your arm, your mouths just inches away.
hobbies: reading, writing, music, watching dramas and anime, practicing German and trying Japanese lol, and drawing
feeling: tired, like writing romance or angst, and worrying about next year because I have to start a new program along with accelerated classes and family stuff 😩
