Hey, can I just say that headcanoning Jeremy as a nonbinary lesbian is such a unique way of looking at the character and is honestly such a valid hc?? Like, screw anyone who says otherwise because, like I said, it’s a new and genuinely interesting take, and is a pretty darn good one, as well. You keep doing you, because heck yeah.

THANK U SM it really is great and makes so much sense w every aspect of jeremy’s character (loving girls but feeling like he has to fit a narrow definition of masculine to be loved in return until the very end of the musical where he presents himself as VERY gender non-conforming??? thanks) like the hc is kind of like looking at jeremy in a different way but also all of the canon evidence is already Right There. will roland said jeremy is a trans icon and the bmc instagram posted an edit of jeremy with the trans flag for tdov, so like basically any non-cis interpretation of jeremy is valid. obviously the most popular one is jeremy as a trans guy but you can just as easily read him as a trans girl or nonbinary and i think reading him as a nonbinary lesbian is epic because it doesn’t change anything about his love for christine, it just amplifies what’s already there. him and michael as gay/lesbian solidarity is also very good. anyway yeah thank you i love getting messages like this

Hey, Mr. Reyes! What’s it like dealing with a teenager outside of school? Is it any different than interacting with your everyday students besides the obvious? (Also, I would like to say to the mod that this blog is a godsend and I was so happy when I found it-)

Mr. Reyes: Really the only thing that's different is it's a more casual environment then the school is. We don't really chat about School around Linus, and we don't really chat about outings during the school day. But, Jeremy and I try to stay on good terms with eachother. Dating is about being a part of someone else's life, And Jeremy is a very important part of Linus's life... So, spending time with him was always a given.
