I am grateful for all the people that get me at a deeper level. Leaders like us don’t play for the world’s applause, we play for an Audience of One, for the most high God. #AO1 Confession, from time to time. people try to put me down to put me in my place, and to make me feel bad for what I chose to post on social media. Some think that I am too out there, too brash, too bold, too full of myself. I am just trying to do me. My Mom taught be it was alright to be bold. To be me. To be authentic. So I share from my heart and my unique experiences to lift up topics like faith, hope and love. I suppose it just comes with the territory to be chastised occasionally, but it hurts sometimes. What I do know in my own heart, is that the Lord is on the throne of my life, that I love people, I love God and I listen to the spirit. I carefully decide what to post and what not to post. Keeping private what should be kept private and making public, the photos, videos and experiences that I believe will build trust, that make people smile, that point at our good God, that recognize the trustworthy heroes of the faith, that speak life and truth, that share what’s good in sports, that edify and encourage people, that promote what is right, good and true in sports media and ministry and in life. I acknowledge that it cuts me deep sometimes when I share meaningful stuff, and I get belittled, but I am more than grateful for the platform God has given me and I will continue to listen, learn and lead for the sake of the Lord because #HeGetsUs all of us. He really does. #AIA #AO1 https://www.instagram.com/p/Cpie5upu9WP/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
