Merging routes made sense to me. Maybe labeling certain points could be a thing, but for now I really enjoy tracing my walks (considering adding POIs, but really not sure about it)

Heidestein now supports field notes.
You can add observations during a walk and revisit them later where they were written. Selected notes from earlier walks can appear again when you return nearby.
Routes can now be exported as PDF, PNG, SVG, GPX, or HTML.
Includes several improvements to background tracking stability and export reliability.

Building a small GPX viewer for Heidestein, because people like maps. Still no server interaction and user data stored.
My hike tracking App is finally in both the App Store and available for testing on Google Play. I built it when starting longer hikes end of summer and Google Maps kept on telling me I walked an, impressive, 0.5 kilometres in 8 hours. Fitness Apps wanted me to have all kinds of targets and logins and...I was bored and figured I could just build what I wanted/needed myself. It does as little as possible; Which I consider a feature. - No ads, no accounts, no internet necessary, no AI features, no data collecting and it's free.* I'm kind of happy with it now and will keep on improving**.
