Of course! My ex is a transwoman and my best friend is a transman and I want to do right by them both. I've seen the things they go through and still deal with, the most I can do is making sure that my facts are right and my characters are loved correctly. It's not often I see trans characters (especially butch/masc/stud trans characters) loved well in fan fiction. (Beyond Herbert West, weirdly enough.)
