I'm a really short trans guy, 4'11. People ask me how old I am/why I'm so short all the time and it is really irritating. Any advice on what to say/not say??
“Genetics” is honestly the best answer. It’s always true, for assigned female and assigned male, intersex or not. It’s short and to the point.
or, you can just tell them that short people are closer to the ground and closer to Satan.
As for age, just tell them “ (age) I’m just short”

okay so, today i kinda, sorta, wanted to vent about my height. Im about 5'10" ... not cool for a 16 year old girl. Especially when your friends are mostly between 5 ft and 5'6"... even the guys. sometimes it just REALLY gets to me. My boyfriend of a month as of yesterday is 5'5". Which, I mean, I REALLY like this kid. We have been friends for a while and very close. But I keep thinking of all that cute stuff we can just never do because.. its awkward. I honestly dont mind but I feel bad for HIM. I dont see how he can possibly find it attractive when I am so much taller than him. We can never slow dance, take cute pictures, even walk holding hands. And I hate it. But I love him. I hate my height. I want to be shorter. Be more normal. Short girls can make themselves taller with heels. There is nothing I can do about my most hated quality. I've struggled with it my entire life. I am the size of an average boy. Its horrible. I will never be able to weigh 100 lbs unless I want to look like a skeleton. I can never wear heels unless I want to be the size of a house. I really just wish that I could shrink and not have to worry about it ever again, but i know thats not ever going to happen :/
