she’s  running  before  he’s  fully  come  into  view.           peaks  of  white  and  black  ;  the  smallest  bit  of  leather.          a  jacket  she’s  still  not  sure  when  he  managed  to  swipe  back.         but  in  the  moment  ,  it  doesn’t  matter.  not  when  she’s  launching  from  the  ground.  arms  encircling  his  neck  ,  legs  finding  his  waist    (  and  praying  she  doesn’t  knock  him  completely  to  the  ground  ).      “  happy   national   boyfriend   day.  ”      lips  claim  his  ,     gentle.   but  overflowing  with  emotion.  still  ,         without  a  care  that  they  haven’t  used  the  word  before.     without  fear  that  she’s  going  to  push  him  away.  for  once  ,          they’re  just  two  people.  completely  enamored  with  each  other.  and  not  a  care  in  the  world  about  where  they  grew  up.
