❞—I take it you must be my “new” roommate during our extended stay here?❞ The demon hunter had his feet propped up on the coffee table when a new face had entered the room. Honestly this crib was a bit too cramped for his taste. The least the nerds that are watching him could give him a sense of a crib that wasn’t so dull and lifeless. Then again, expecting that was probably a bit foolish on his part. With a load of free time getting his bearings. He returned to the apartment complex to crash for the day.

“Do people still use swords? I mean, I’ve seen some pretty sweet katanas, but I thought that this was a thing that people stopped using.. with guns and everything, pointy stuff are just not as good. That looks heavy, is it that heavy?”

The trip to the district known as Olympia was not one that could be made on foot. The land, housed in the sky, was only accessible by those with certain ranks under normal circumstance, but special arrangements had been made in this case. It was in the sky, so the only method of reaching it was by aircraft or, if one was lucky enough to possess them, their own wings.

While her wings were not her own, Wendy Marvell did possess a flying companion named Carla. Usually she’d fly with Carla as her wings, but in this case she had to board the plane with the others or else they wouldn’t be able to gain access to the district. Which should have been fine...

Except transportation made her sick in the worst way.

It wasn’t a lack of resolve or anything like that, but rather a condition caused by the type of magic she wielded. Dragon Slayers just couldn’t tolerate transportation, to the point where they were extremely sick riding it. All in all, probably not a great first impression for the others, whom were likely already doubting her leadership ability considering she was only fourteen.

It was a long hour.

Eventually, however, the plane landed. The squad disembarked, and her condition cleared up practically immediately. They’d landed in an unpopulated area of the floating isle, and yet technology was spread before them. In a way, it looked more like a city after being hit by an apocalypse. It was as if, at some point, everyone had just dropped everything they were doing and left. But as a Sky mage, she was sensitive to the clean air at this altitude. It was clean, yet... something seemed off about it.

But that’s what made it worthy to explore, even if the threat of monsters and bandits still lurked.

Twirling, the girl suddenly faced the group with her talking, flying cat, Carla, in her arms.

“Okay! I know we talked a little on the plane...” Well, she tried. “But maybe we should do introductions again? I’m Wendy Marvell, mage of Fairy Tail and leader of this group! As you all know, we’ll be searching for clues about the true nature of the city, as well as artifacts and resources for the city to use.”

“And I’m Carla. Though I’ll be spending most of the trip scouting ahead.”

She had done this already to Melia. It was a shame that she had left before they were able to finish all 5 season. Which meant she still needed to share her love with somebody else. She went down her mental list of people she knew and came to a conclusion, bursting through that person’s apartment door at the dead of night.

“Shulk! Mechanical science!” She still needed to work on that nickname. 

“Stop sleeping! We got season 3 of Bill Nye to watch!” She yells out with her laptop in hand.

Occupation: High School Student / Mikorin’s Savior

One would of thought that the most terrible thing in the world had happened to Mikoto Mikoshiba. That he had failed all of his classes and would be held back, that he had finally revealed to the female student body that he had gotten a girlfriend or that he’d found out that he had an incurable disease that would cause his good looks and effortless charm to decline rapidly until he was nothing more then a shell of his former self. 

Surely, with the amount of dramatic screaming he did in the middle of the classroom that day, someone would of figured something horrible would of happened to him -- 

Not that something as silly as his PSP screen had been cracked. 

Luckily for the redheaded male, however, there is a hero among the men in his classroom. Someone who quickly swooped in and demanded to see said broken electronic and who offered to fix it for him free of charge. Someone who brought the light back into his eyes and promised that none of his Love Me, Love You Route #6 -- Emiko Fujiyama progression would be lost.

A young man by the name of Shulk takes the reigns and quickly repairs the screen in nothing short of a day and Mikorin is more then grateful for his services.

Relationship to Chiyo: Mikorin has been singing the highest of praises about the hero whom has saved 3 weeks worth of his dating sim data in less then 24 hours. Naturally, Chiyo and everyone else is encouraged to meet him and they find that while he can be a little bit emotional, he is a kindhearted soul who really enjoys technology. He later inspires a side character for Nozaki’s manga.

On the western side of the large metropolis, the sun was beginning to slowly sink down over the horizon, shrouding the entire city in a calico glow. The bright reddish hue spread out over the towering buildings, covered the busy marble streets and consumed the massive bodies that populated the area. If you looked further down the road, you could see a few lampposts that hung on the corners of the intersection suddenly began to light up, a dim white light shinning in the aftermath of the glow from the burning star.

If you didn’t know any better, you would of assumed that this was nothing more then a regular city in the middle of some booming country. There was really nothing out of the ordinary that the naked eye could see, but it was foreign.

This place is huuuuge. Chiyo Sakura stood at the corner of one of the crosswalks, violet hues drifting back and forth between some of the larger buildings. While she couldn’t help but still be a bit confused on the fact that she’d somehow been transported to this place – what did they say again? something or other about social experiments? – she had to admit that it had an impressive structure. She hadn’t been to many industrial-like places in her lifetime, but such a place like this put even the biggest of cities to shame.

“Oooooh~”

The young inking assistant stopped in the middle of the lesser crowded sidewalk as she heard an echo of ‘ooh’s and ‘aah’s from a small group of children who had gathered in front of an older looking shop. She quickly moved off to the side so as not to be in the way of any oncoming foot traffic and glanced towards where the smaller bodies were pressed up against a large window pane, their faces gleefully smushed against the glass as they watched with bright eyes the wonders inside.

Chiyo tilted her head to the side as she peered over the smaller figures, her curiosity getting the better of her as she moved to enter the shop. Being as small as she was, she couldn’t get a good look at what was--

The small chime that signaled the entry of a customer fell on deaf ears as the smaller ginger-haired girl caught sight of someone sitting near the front of the store, tinkering with a small robot-looking figure in one hand while the other winded up a similar looking toy that raced around the display for the children.

     “The more time I spend here, the more I realize how      much I still don’t know of the modern world.”

The Exalted noble handed Shulk a piece of watermelon that she had gotten for him when she excused herself to get something to snack on for them. Her words were true, but she felt a bit more disconnected with the citizens here. A lot of them were carefree, taking the beach in with stride and happiness while Lucina herself was still fretting over what could happen.

     “Still, the beach is… nice, isn’t it?”
