It never really did stop being cold in the Hebra Mountain region, did it? But at least things were tolerable in Rito Village, her goal destination right now. She'd heard stories, from Link himself, about a fierce Rito warrior who was a master at archery. Such a person would do excellent towards training new guards, given that most who were experienced had long since passed.

What was his name again? Think...

Oh, yes. Teba. Zelda continued to move, giving smiles towards the Rito that acknowledged her. She had an idea of where he lived, was told that he had a family. But that was all she knew. The woman was hopeful, that he'd be willing to aid in training the soldiers that now guarded Castle Town.

Which was still being rebuilt, and was under attack by monsters by the daily.

"Um.. excuse me."

That which she addressed, was the Rito warrior himself. Having been given no details on his appearance, she didn't realize who it was.

"I'm looking for someone. I believe his name is Teba. If it's not too much to ask, could you guide me to him? It's urgent, I assure you."

since the defeat of the de-corruption of the mechanical beasts that took both his hand his friend’s lives,  it was as if the weight was finally lifted from the rito’s shoulders.  he was a champion,  someone who was chosen amongst his people to protect them from the very same darkness that had been plaguing them for the last one hundred years,  but he was never able to fulfill that task ... until now.  for now,  revali’s spirit could finally rest in peace,  knowing his friends,  family,  and the rest of his people could continue to live their lives in peace.

from his perch atop the divine beast,  spiritual form gazes down at his home town from above,  moonlight bathing translucent feathers as a breath was taken inward ... wait,  what ?  air,  entering his lungs ?  no,  that didn’t seem right at all.  emerald hues seemed to widen in response,  feathered appendages coming down to pat his form,  his now solid body.

no,  no he was surely dreaming,  there was no plausible explanation.  but try as the shock may try to overwhelm him,  there was no denying his body had been brought back from the grave.  the fresh,  chrisp air entering newly rebirthed lungs,  it was indescribable.  the words failed to escape his beak,  the experience leaving the rito utterly speechless.

yet slowly,  gaze shifts back towards the mountain village he called home,  thoughts taking their time to process.  this was it,  he could finally go home,  see his people once more with no limitations ... but how would they react to a legend walking into their territory,  did they even remember him ?  there was only way to find out,  footsteps starting slow,  the flapping of wings coming soon after,  allowing revali to grace the skies once more.  next stop,  rito village.

||  Do an influx of ooc posts on a blog annoy you? Nah, I like to see mun thoughts/what they’re up to ooc/life updates. Everyone’s different. Plus, if someone’s having a bad day, I love to find a way to cheer them up. One small thing can change a person’s whole mood/day. 

Do you have a group of tumblr friends that you consider as close friends? In other fandoms, yeah. I have a small group chat on Discord that I talk to. I don’t have anyone in the loz rpc close to me yet. Hopefully I will!

🔲 Another day. another wonder if the elder duck was still alive as the hawk followed the small path he knew by heart to the lake, a plate of hot salmon in his hand. His heart always broke a little seeing the old waterfowl kneel at the bank. It looked as if he spent his time reflecting on his life or waited for something? Teba only ever saw him write letters in bottles, tossing them into the lake. Taking a seat beside Taavi, he offered the food. "Good afternoon. I'm happy to see you again."

Taavi was sitting by the lake like countless times before, concentrating on rolling up the note he’d been writing and squeezing it through the opening of a glass bottle. In fact, he’d just sealed the bottle up when Teba arrived. The elderly rito looked up at the voice, a smile of recognition lighting his face.

          “Oh, hello! I haven’t seen you around in a while.” He sat up straighter, the corners of his eyes wrinkling in amusement. He really shouldn’t have been all that surprised. Who else came to visit him there at the lake? With a smile still playing upon his face, Taavi patted the ground next to him, inviting the younger bird to join him. However it wasn’t until the plate was offered towards him, that he noticed it was even there at all. And he once again found himself surprised. “You... brought this for me?” Carefully setting the bottle down next to him, he accepted the plate into his hands and looked down at it, a glow of gratitude swelling in his chest. These days it was mostly Teba visiting him, now that he thought about it. And he truly appreciated it. Though why the boy took it upon himself, he still didn’t know. Not that he wasn’t curious. “Thank you.” He bowed his head, smile returning as he raised up. “I was just getting hungry, you know. And fishing isn’t as easy as it used to be. I hope you’ll stay and join me! I was just finishing up here.”
