It still stood, that she was raised as a princess. She was supposed to be proper. Though as time went on, she was... becoming much more casual. She knew when to speak with authority, but she also knew how to be her own person. Not solely the princess who governed Hyrule, ruined as it still was. Maybe it was her time spent as an omnipotent presence, that helped her attain such an understanding point of view.
Seeing people go about their daily lives, even throughout the calamity. Seeing the joy, the sorrow. The fear, but also, the excitement. Zelda took all of it in. She spent one hundred years as nothing short of a Goddess, watching over the kingdom.
Really changes a person, even though she was mortal now.
"I trust your words, though I still hope she'll be careful. Even the strongest of warriors, can make one slip up, and everything goes downhill from there."
Was he really in his thirties? Goodness, he really didn't look a day over twenty. In fact, if she were to truly guess, she'd have assumed he was her own age before the calamity was released. Seventeen.
"I wouldn't mind at all."
Too bad there wasn't a ruined example around to show him. She'd just have to try to explain.
"Ancient Sheikah Technology, they are called 'Guardians'. Calamity Ganon, the evil entity that tried to destroy Hyrule, used malice to bring them to his side. They truly are quite advanced, they shoot powerful beams from their eye."
She was certain they would eventually run into one, destroyed, of course. There were no working Guardians she knew of anymore. When the calamity was sealed, they all stopped working.
"They may be gone now, but the memories of them still haunt me to this day. The only reason I have not aged, is because I served those one hundred years as a Goddess. An omnipotent presence, that kept Calamity Ganon held back in a destroyed Hyrule Castle. It was my kn--"
There she was, almost referring to him solely by his title again.
"...My friend, Link, who was able to tear away at the malice that stopped me from sealing Calamity Ganon away. With the malice gone, I used the power of the Triforce, to make sure Calamity Ganon could never come back within my lifetime."
A short sigh through her nose.
"I don't know how long that will be. I don't know what effects occurred to my physical form, since becoming a Goddess. It's just something only time will tell. I am one hundred seventeen years old at current moment. Calamity Ganon returned on my seventeenth birthday."
