What a great Sunday to clean out my closet and organize life for the next season. I took 4 big bags to the ARC for donation, packed up unwanted sweaters and warm clothes to give to those in need and stashed it in my car, went grocery shopping and cooked some rice and chicken and have lots of healthy foods for the week. I'm going to organize my music making station and then call it a day. Today's #Devotional speaks loud to me. I see life happen in ways that I've never imagined when I am walking in the Holy Spirit. It's not easy though! Fall is upon us and I am grateful. There are things that are shedding off, turning into old leaves that blow away in the wind. #HolySpiritYouAreWelcomeHere 🕊️❤️ #HeIsGoodDotLove

After a long, super inspiring day, I finally got home and took Olive on a walk out to the field where the stars shined so brightly. I could clearly see clusters of star formations, red twinkles of planets, the air cold and crisp. All that I could do was stare up at the sky and thank God for this life that we have, where each and every one of us has a purpose. We are all like the stars in the sky, with our souls shining brightly. We all can truly make a difference in this world, turning the darkness into light, seeing the good in people and helping each other be the best that we can be. Under the night sky I felt hope, felt Love, felt God wrapping me in his heavenly arms, surrendering and trusting. I am yours. Use me as your tool to spread light, to spread Love. I thought about the astronomers from thousands of years ago, staring up at these same stars, studying the patterns and formations, long before we had technology. I am just absolutely awe inspired. My tired eyes begin to fall. #StarsInTheSky #HeIsGoodDotLove

#RichardRohr... My heart and soul were opened further than I could imagine, letting go of constructs that in my mind have kept people from the #Almighty, unlearning and learning, God is accessible in many ways. The more I study the word and learn about other people's journeys the more I open myself up to seeing an even bigger #truth. This walk is not an easy one, yet one thing I know for certain is that we all are Loved. #HeIsGoodDotLove (at Highlands Church Denver)
