I’ve always heard “find someone to love that challenges you”, I always wondered why. Challenges in my mind always seemed like yelling, screaming, anger, and fear. No that’s not a challenge. That’s painful conflict. Find someone who challenges you in a way that their smile melts open your heart. Scars on the outside for them to observe. Find someone who challenges you so that everyday you’re a better you. Find someone who challenges you so that even when you’re ready to give up you don’t because you know there’s better days to come. Find someone who challenges you in a way that forces you out of your shell and into the sun where you hear the birds sing and flowers bloom. Find someone who challenges you so you never forget YOU. Find someone who challenges you so that you grow and learn and become a better you. Find someone who challenges you in a way that makes you want better out of every situation. Find someone who LOVES with an undying power that feeds your soul into a happier you. These people are hard to find and harder to hold on too. There have been days were I didn’t think it would work, I wanted to blame everything on him but the biggest challenge was realizing I had to change too.
