        Well--- naturally, it’s his luck that he’s not the only one that planned a heist at this museum tonight. Naturally, someone else is trying to break in. And naturally, he’s beginning to think, she may just be after the newly-set-on-display painting that’s been garnering quite a bit of attention from people ‘round the world.

        Solo says nothing; rather, he moves swiftly, all of his ease and grace and silence like a feline prowling, hopefully avoiding her attention.

                Time to see who gets to it first!

She was carefully hiding her determined fury behind a cool lack of concern, steady arrogance. It had become her standard when dealing with denizens of the less than legal, that attitude draped over her like a parlor trick, and it came so easily when she could exaggerate it all with the flourish and presence that only her family’s original tongue could bring. It was just that, however, a fabricated façade - one that would dissolve into either a softer sense of respect or a steel-set hatred. It all just depended, didn’t it? ❝I presume I need no introduction.❞

🔖- Is your muse a daydreamer? What do they tend to think about? Have they ever caught themselves while lost in thought?

Not in any significant way. Julia’s mind tends to wander to less than stellar places if left unoccupied, ripe with overthinking and running over the events of the week. Focusing on work and her various schemes leave Julia with very little time to let her mind wander beyond trying to weigh all options for a given scenario, ultimately for the best.

The most she might daydream about is shutting up someone who particularly annoys her, or some other level of zoning out about her surroundings rather than focusing on whoever is irritating her. She once focused so on a particular Russian painting in a superior’s office that she came up with a whole Oscar-worthy storyline about the art’s travel from the Motherland to Thames House over the last two hundred years, interrupted only by the thought of how stupid this all was.

            It had been years since they’d really spoken, even longer since they’d seen each other. But Jaymes needed her. A friend who knew her before the world had shaped her into something some had called a monster. Now that Skyfall Lodge was nothing more than rubble, she had come back. The sound of footsteps leaves her turning. Slowly though because she already knows who it is.

            Offering a soft smile, Jaymes turns back to the wreckage. ❝ Can you believe it? How longs it’s been... ❞ The questions hangs, open ended and heavy in the air. ❝ I can’t even imagine being a kid anymore. ❞

✁: Did it take you a long time to get your OC just right?

It took me a few days, and by and large James is still the same character I started with. The main difference is he’s more fleshed out now. I was pretty vague about a lot early on as I was unsure quite how I wanted to do things. That’s taken place over the course of several months. So I would say it didn’t take me that long to get the basic idea down, but there will probably always be ongoing minor changes.
