what energizes and drains them most?
speaking of his past drains him of his energy the most, he never favors doing it. but meditation or intense practice are things that fill him with energy, particularly the latter because it comes with the added bonuses of satisfaction ^^
how are they vocally expressive? what kind of voice, accent, tones, inflections, volume, phrases and slang, and manner of speaking do they use?
hanzo’s tone is usually callous and low, wary of any company he keeps and fully prepared to seek refuge elsewhere if their company becomes too much. he’s very formal in speech, no slang of any sorts unless he’s learned it from someone and actually kept interest in that phrase. he’s polite, he doesn’t lash out with his tongue all the time. he knows wariness doesn’t excuse rudeness all of the time.
how are they bodily expressive? how do they use nonverbal cues such as their posture, stance, eyes, eyebrows, mouths, and hands?
his posture doesn’t give him away, it’s an ingrained habit to not really let his emotions betray him through his body unless he’s fully swept up in his emotions. in that case, his body would be what to rely on most then, since ( for example ) anger makes his fingers twitch and sadness makes his shoulders droop a bit and he curls into himself ever so slightly.
his facial features are where his expressions lie the most. a slight narrow of the eyes, a quirk of the lips, downcast sights, a whirlwind of emotions in his gaze, a clench of the jaw. all of those and more are some of the ways hanzo is bodily expressive.
