For my second ever Deipnon, I offered incense, butterfly pea flower infusion as libations and a home made meal of garlic-chickpea patties, tahini-dressed greens and rosemary potatoes. A strawberry for my departed fur baby Aurora. Yesterday marked 2 months since I lost Aurora but gained Hekate in my life. For this Hekatesia/dark moon/new moon ritual I offered my gratitude to Hekate for everything in my life. I also prepped myself to release any negative energies and be more open to new goodness. Blessed Hekate, may Your light keep on illuminating my path🕯️

Hecate Night (Hekatesia)

Hecate, my Goddess, my Queen of Witches, and my Ruler of the Night. I praise your light and love and power. I see you in the Earth and sky around me. I feel you in the mountains and moonbeams. I hear you whisper in songs mistaken for howling wind and rain. These offerings are yours to bless, Gracious Hecate, Infernal Queen, Dark Mistress, and Muse of the Moon. My prayers to you, as thou wilt, so mote it be.

Above is my offering to Hecate for Hekatesia. She is my goddess and my life eternal in this world and the next. May she help us all on our own paths and radiate her guidance in our wake.

21.03.23 - My very first Hekatesia. For my first ever supper with Hekate I burned incense, infused oolong tea leaves & baked vegan savory garlic & rosemary (harvested by myself on my walks next to the sea) oat muffins, as offerings & libations. To the left are my offerings for Aurora; she loved strawberries. 4 weeks ago I lost Aurora, who was like a daughter to me. 4 weeks ago my life was torn apart, but Hekate came full force into my life. She offered comfort, reassurance, & assured me that Aurora was with Her. Through Aurora’s passing from this physical realm, I found the connection. Before I was in such a spiritual slump, now I’m closer to the divine. My altar to Hekate is small & simple but I’m happy with it. I love crystals, they make me feel closer to Earth, plus they’re gorgeous to look at. What a successful night it’s been where I talked to Hekate and could be my truest self.
