Hekate: keeper of keys 💙💙
June 2020. In Wicca, keys are important symbols of success, protection and knowledge. 💙💙 Keys represent the opening and closing of portals and gateways in order to achieve desired goals. A ‘Skeleton’ key, in particular, will open any and all doors. For this reason, keys are effective tools in spell work as they can help to secure success of intentions and desires. 💙💙 The key is effective as a protection charm for the home also. It can be attached to a hag stone (a stone with a natural hole) with some red thread to protect its wearer or the home from hexes, curses, harm and negativity. Red thread is used as it is said never to break and is associated with the ‘Red Thread of Fate’ and love. 💙💙 Keys are symbolic of knowledge as well, as they represent Hekate: she is the gatekeeper of mystical and magickal knowing, Queen of witches and Goddess of witchcraft. The crystals in the photograph are selenite, rose quartz and, in the centre, my second exquisite Picasso Jasper orb from @smudgemysoul (insta account). 💙💙 Source: ‘Keys in Magick’ @https://amino apps.com. #13things #antiquekeys #wicca #magick #wiccan #portals #spells #charms #doorways #sucess #goals #witch #red #hagstone #hekate #knowledge #hekateskeys #selenite #orb #wwjune20 #picassojasperstone https://www.instagram.com/p/CBi5XYWHxPClGHaqrB2wiZe2C1oKEzE9rfFtSE0/?igshid=mpwd8jafc3kh
