I have a virtual idol verse I’m planning out for Reema that I’d love to get off the ground one of these days!
The premise was that Reema died in a hit-and-run in New York shortly after moving from Miami to start their live in show business. Their father--a renown engineer in AI technology--threw himself into a project to upload Reema’s appearance, personality, and memories into an artificial form, both to give his child life again and to give them the opportunity to become the star they’d always wanted to be. The final version of the AI becomes an international success. Reema performs sold-out holographic pop concerts, makes movie and TV appearances, and has fans across the globe.
It seemed like a fun AU idea that has the potential to get really dark--like man it would suck to retain your memories and have a replication of your living body’s consciousness, but what you can and can’t do is kind of tied up in the framework of this incomplete picture of you that your dad had. I need to just get the damn verse page up already lmao
