Everything is Somewhat Repaired: George, Gina & Lucy   Today I saw my friend Philisha in the street. Looking like a runway model as always, and carrying a familiar bag.

I like the giant clip. It doesn't do anything. even better! My friend has a similar one and they were so pleased to get it.

"Yeah all the basic bitches at school had them, so I had to have one."

This statement struck me as so poetic. At once acknowledging and dismissing petty distinctions of taste, but more even, casually celebrating the political action of accessing what had previously been denied us. "Bread for all, and Roses, too."
