First, I must state how stunningly beautiful these covers are😍 I’m going back to read and discover middle grade books. I didn’t read much MG when I was young. I was an advanced reader and at age nine started reading adult fiction. I never enjoyed cartoons nor movies and books about wizards and such. Even now I’m not a sci-fi or fantasy reader. I try, but rarely finish. . . I’m committed to slowly walk into the uncomfortable. I want to discover new to me genres. I’m very comfortable in my lane, but that doesn’t promote growth. I don’t have to love every genre, but I’m aware there are gems in each of them. .
