The Nine Realms - Helheim
Im meant to be studying for my french exam tommorow but instead im writing a pretty dark chipper poem (? I dont really follow the rules outside of rhyming for my writing) about going to Helheim
Lmao this is it so far:
----
To Helheim I will go.
Down the road of woe.
With red ribbons on ma wrists
And regrets on me lips.
You cant come back from her you know.
So dont ask me so.
-----
My best friend's mother just died yesterday. I feel so helpless because this isn't something I can change nor is it something I'm familiar in dealing with.
The most I've come to this level of grief is when my childhood dog died, but he is but a dog, and she was his mother. I don't think they quite equate.
I'm not sure how to comfort someone at a time like this. I can talk endlessly about the first law of thermodynamics, but would that help. It states that energy can neither be created nor destroyed. I like to think that even if someone's mortal form has deceased, their energy, their essence still brings life to the world.
How can someone be gone when they are the wind rustling through the trees, when they are the sun shining down between the clouds, when they are that which helps grass grow.
But some don't believe this the way I do, so how can it help? I can tell them what I believe about the afterlife. Helheimr is not like the Christian Hell. After living a normal life, you get a normal afterlife. No punishments await you, though your family and ancestors do. I believe they wait for you with open arms, ready to tell you how proud they are of what you accomplished and how you've brought pride to the clan.
I can only believe that when one dies they journey there, from where they can look upon you as you learn to continue on and push forward.
My friend, even if I do not say this to you directly, your mother was so proud of all you accomplished, of all you've done so far, of all the joy you spread. And I know she will be watching with earnest to see what you do next. She is not gone. Remember her in the sunshine she loved so much, in the laughter shared between friends, in the smell of her favorite foods: she is with you always.
I watched 'Tolkien' for the second time last night, and I am in love with that movie. I love his books so much, they mean a lot to me. And watching his bio movie was so fantastic. Just like his books, his life was tough but full of friendship and love. #helheimr 👑🍂in other news, I'm feeling a lot better, at least I'm not a crying mess, I'm taking one day at a time and step by step I'm living life. Thanks for all your comments and all the love; aside from this community, watching movies are keeping my mind occupied and I've been feeling quite better. So let's spread positivity💫 . . .Comment the last movie you have watched -> https://www.instagram.com/p/B1bv6dOA6sM/?igshid=114pv3pc0cfci
If you had not noticed, I use all my powers for the usual sake of entertainment. I use my powers as I please, and it just so happens I use them very often.
I was absolutely mortified to say the least.
Though it didn't take me too long to adapt to my new surroundings, so my horror was not long lived.
If Thor were to randomly appear in front of you, what would you say?
He knows I want him dead, there is really no need for words.
