Oof... So the last few days were an interesting mess 😅 So I am obviously aware to not mix alcohol and xanax, and I figured 12 hours should have been a long enough time between the two... Apparently not 😳 This morning a buddy of mine said the same had happened to her once, so I feel less like a confused idiot

All logic left my brain after 3 drinks; 3 drinks turned into a LOT more plus I apparently got stuck in some sort of loop and popped 6 more xanax during all this. I was supposed to be saving those for the drinking aftermath, not during!!!

On the plus side, I didn't fully black out! I still remember all the important bits, and even finally got my two fave fuck buddies to join me for an impromptu threesome

So Jose left to go back to Wisconsin today, and I fucking miss him already. He is not just one of my best friends, I consider him family and always will.

I am so concerned about his health, although I try not to worry to much, bit you all know that I worry about those I care about. His face is so much thinner than I have ever seen it, and his belly sticks out like a pregnant woman about to give birth. But it looks that way because his kidneys are not processing liquids correctly, so he's bloated. He goes in every couple of weeks to have it drained.

I don't have anyone left to talk to about my fears and concerns, although he and I did discuss it. I know he's getting better each day, and I know it will be a long road for him. He has a very positive attitude and mindset and I know that will help.

We drove around Phoenix on Friday, went to Meteor Crater on Saturday, and the Grand Canyon on Sunday. There are more things he'd like to do and I hope that means he's planning on coming back.

Tomorrow it's back to work, and back to exercising, to be in shape for my trip back in September and the surprise I will have for some people.

So Jose will remain in my prayers and I will continue to think positive and pull for him.
