(⑅ ‘﹃’ ) = What the character daydreams or thinks about
kim chan thinks about classes and homework assignments and exams and graduation. it’s more of a worrying, rather than thinking, but those are topics that are always at the forefront of his mind. to people loosely acquainted to him, it’s all he seems to thinks about.
dig a little deeper and there is a lot more to see. one of his favorite things to think about is other people. he likes to observe others’ behavior and think about why they act in such a way. he doesn’t intend to be judgmental, he is merely fascinated by people that seem to think and act differently than himself. other than that, he often thinks about various philosophical topics. as a math major, he’s practically the opposite a philosopher, but the topics interest him nonetheless, and he often finds himself spending too much time thinking about the philosophy of good and evil when he should be studying for an exam.
then, in the darkest corners of his mind are where he thinks about his life and the problems that go along with it. this is a place he never ventures into unless he is by himself (which is quite often). these are the thoughts that stay in his mind and never leave; where he hides his pain, where he hides his secret desires.
as for daydreaming, chan doesn’t daydream. with all the thoughts racing through his mind, he barely has any time for it and sees it as a waste of his limited time. he’d much rather spend that time taking a nap and having actual dreams.
