I noticed that I never did make a post of my Seraphim Sona for Hazbin Hotel so here it is!

@klaudia96art did such an amazing job designing them and I adore the outfits she has (hopefully I can expand her wardrobe).

Info on my Seraphim Sona:

Bio:

Gender/Sexual orientation: Genderfluid-Lesbian

Age: Same as Sera

Height: 6'9 (can change size)

Species: Seraphim

Facts:

In Heaven, they are an actor who plays a more fictionalized version of themselves in an action series that Heaven broadcasts for families where in she is part of a group of Angels that fight against The Deadly Sins, while teaching life lessons to the audience. (The show she stars in is a shout out to 80s kids action cartoons that also try to give life lessons to kids such as Transformers, He-Man, She-Ra, and Thundercats)

She shares the same rank as Sera and the two both watch over Emily, my Sona is more lenient and understanding to Emily then Sera tends to be (basically "the cool aunt")

Her and Sera are a couple💜💜

Between her and Sera, Sera wears the pants most of the time, though the two do try to share it from time to time, even if they argue over who is being a good or bad influence on Emily.

She likes to read books written by humans who came to heaven.

She is against the Exterminations and sides with Emily, though she tries playing peacemaker between Emily and Sera on this subject.

Personality:

Even though she is a Seraphim she is not as uptight as Sera is, she can be more relaxed and tries to maintain a balanced attitude. (in fact, she tends to be the only one who is said can calm Sera down)

She can be both mature and immature at times, but more often can compose herself.

She may be a Seraphim but that doesn't stop her from being rather "nauuuuuughty".

She pities Sinners and doesn't hold them in contempt like others do, rather she wishes they could have had another chance in life to make amends before dying.

She is open to the idea that Sinners are not irredeemable.

She is fiercely protective of those she cares about, can be self-sacrificing at times almost to her own detriment.

History:

Before Shana was in acting, at the beginning of Heaven and Hell's creation, she was once a Warrior fighting against Hell's denizens, in particular the Deadly Sins, though this was before Lucifer's fall, Shana was a

During these early times, for what felt like a millennium, Shana protected Heaven among other Angels, though she didn't have powers equal to the Archangels, she did wield a special divine blade,

though not AS powerful as the Flamming sword of God, which Michael uses, Shana's sword "Thunderdrake" was powerful in that it was made specifically to battle Satan himself and counter his powers as like Satan's own Draconic form and hellish fire, Shana could also transform into her true form which was also a Dragon, the sword amplifying their powers while also having many abilities of its own.

When the wars with Hell ended and Heaven found itself at peace and after the fall of Lucifer, Shana would retire from fighting though she would be part of Heaven's court alongside her girlfriend Sera.

but as human technology advanced and was being introduced to Heaven thanks to the souls who came up, the idea of television programs and such were also brought, and it was here Shana's life changed.

The reason she stars in Heaven's programs is that she hopes to inspire Heaven's occupants and give them a hero of sorts to feel safe, even though Heaven already has many angels who were able to protect heaven (not including the Exorcists), she wanted to be somewhat of a role model for the many souls in heaven, particularly the souls that were children.

The TV program she stars in is loosely based on, the battles against Hell and while Shana didn't like some of the "liberties" they took with how things were depicted, particularly the sins.

who are far more comically evil then their true personalities:

Satan being depicted as angry man baby leader who is a bad boss to the other sins (think Lord Hater from Wander Over Yander mixed with Skeletor)

Ozzie is depicted as cowardly

Bee is depicted as a bratty woman child

Mammon...is mostly the same, except he makes bad puns

Levi is the vainful seductress who is shown to care too much about her looks

Belphagor is treated as a mad scientist archetype

and while Shana had no love for them, she doesn't know the more human side to Oz and Bee, she didn't think it was right to depict them in a way that wasn't from what she remembered them as, which were closer to their true personalities.

She was convinced to let these creative choices slide as she was told her higher ups wanted these changes and that it was "better to show a watered-down version than expose the harshness of war to human souls as they wish to seek comfort" reluctantly she accepted and kept her focus on acting well enough to be what she wanted to be for the souls of heaven.

in time the series ended and Shana was able to stop being a part of something that, while she did enjoy some good times working on this project, the creative choices and alterations still stung, she could only hope that as long as the message got through and that heaven's souls were inspired, for her it would be worth it.

Weapons:

As mentioned above, Shana wields the sword Thunderdrake named so in honor of Shana's "Drake/Draconian" form and the element the sword is associated with.

The sword, when not in combat, is shaped like a dagger to make it easier to carry and is usually placed in a sheath around Shana's waist.

When Shana is in battle and needs to awaken the sword's power, she lifts the sword and invokes the battle cry:

"DEUS!"

"FILIUS!"

"SPIRITUS SANCTUS!"

"Thunderdrake! HO!!!"

with each phrase the sword's blade extends outward and when Shana initiates the battle cry, if she is in need of help, the sword's gem at the hilt will have its "eye" split open as it transforms into the Thunderdrake symbol and will light up into the sky and summon aid.

(And yes, this is absolutely based on the Sword of Omens from Thundercats i make it no secret I'm a fan lol)
