Hellcheer Anniversary Week Masterlist
I’m so very late with my masterlist but I just found this in my drafts 🤦🏽♀️
Here are my contributions to Hellcheer Bingo 2025. I had a lot of fun with my bingo card. Thanks so much to the mods at @hellcheeranniversaryweek for hosting 🥰
“He’s not like us, Christine.”
“He’s a criminal. Trailer trash.”
“You look ridiculous together!”
Chrissy’s breath hitched as she felt the rise of another panic attack. She cursed at herself, angry that she couldn’t get her mother out of her head and annoyed at her reaction. It only made her panic worsen as she began to see black spots in her vision.
Chrissy finds comfort in the Munson home after a fight with her mother.
“No, no, no, no,” Chrissy cried, and she checked his pulse. She tried not to panic when she couldn’t find it.
“Is he. . .?” Dustin screeched. He jumped up and began to pace, mumbling to himself and crying.
Chrissy didn’t answer as she began chest compressions. She counted just like she was taught in her training last year. She pinched his nose, tilted his head back, and pressed her lips to his to breathe into him. His chest rose and fell with each breath she pushed into him. Back to compressions. She didn’t know how long she was doing it before Steve suddenly appeared and took over the compressions.
“C’mon, Munson,” he said, as he pumped Eddie’s chest. “Don’t you fucking die on us, man.”
Chrissy lives, and she’s going to make damn sure that Eddie does too.
Beneath the Dark Blue Waves
The boy slowly returned her smile and began to sing again in the sweetest voice that made Chrissy want to dance her swirly-twirly dance, so she did. Chrissy twisted her little body and pointed her toes as her arms curved around her, slicing through the air in dips and turns like the waves she had been so fascinated by earlier. The Momma looked at her boy and Chrissy, a smile of understanding growing on her face. She joined her boy’s singing, so Chrissy pirouetted like she did in her dance class, and she leapt forwards and backwards, her strawberry blonde hair bright like fire in the setting sun.
While on a journey by sea to the new settlement called Hawkins, young Chrissy encounters sea creatures whose song causes others to go mad, but calls to her blood and makes her dance.
Startled at her raised voice and her swearing, Jason held out a placating hand. “Baby, I’m sorry. Your mom and I just…”
She interrupted him and said, “You know if you love my mother so much, maybe you should be fucking her instead of me. Maybe she won’t mind laying there like a fucking corpse the way you like it. I certainly never got anything out of it.”
Her friends covered their snorts of laughter, while Jason and the basketball team stared at Chrissy in shock. The boy with the long, curly hair let out a startled laugh. Embarrassed, Jason shook his head and took his keys out of his pocket.
Hawkins County Fair brings fun and cheer to the town and clarity to Chrissy.
