Okay SO
It might be obvious who I am but I want to post this from a secondary account cause I don’t want any drama. I’m just doing this as a BUYER BEWARE.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING FROM HELLFURBY ON ETSY:
They clearly lie about shipping estimates. If they were honest, I would not have cared about waiting but I messaged several times (and this was weeks after the expected delivery date before I even sent a message)
They claimed the package was in the mail several times and that the tracking just “didn’t update” which I knew wasn’t true but I tried several times to give them the benefit of the doubt
I ordered the thing on July 27 and it’s been literally two months with the only updates being that they “mailed it out today” or “it should show up in a day or two” like girl I knew it never left your house. Creating the shipping label but not shipping it doesn’t count as shipping
They mentioned that the sculpture I was getting had defects that they wanted to fix which is fine. But I wish they would have been HONEST. Like it makes me think that the sculpture I had purchased didn’t actually exist yet. BUT THAT IS WHAT PRESALES ARE FOR.
I don’t want to be too much of a dick because I think this person might be young or have som sort of social anxiety. But I gotta say this: you owe it, as an artist that sells things, to be better to people who are paying you decent money for your art. I sell art too, when I was younger I did fall behind sometimes and had to make it up to clients. But you cannot consistently lie to people. That’s where it becomes less about whatever may be going on in your life and more about bad business. And it hurts other artists too because we humans tend to lump things together.
My advice to Hellfurby: do better or just don’t sell your art. It’s fine to just make stuff for yourself. Not everything has to be commodified. But once you DO start selling stuff, you can’t lie to your customers and think that it won’t eventually upset them. I’ve never honestly opened a case on Etsy before against someone and I feel bad about it but i also am not gonna get jerked around.
Thanks to all who read and remember to read reviews before you buy I guess

Okay so here is my review i give five stars! The articulation of the hands, arms, head, and spine are amazing and go threw out the whole body. The arms can bend up or down and even towards the torso as well, the body is fully articulated. You cannot bend the wrist but the hands can be rotated. The fur is of a high quality and the stitching is really good. The wires in the ears can be bent a little but its best not to push it too much, the wire is also every thick and sturdy. The paint is really nice and sealed it really shows how much care was put into this project. The maker stuck with me and walked me threw each customization option and even worked with me really well on a payment plan/trade.I highly recommend them if they open any more commissions R U N to get a spot.
