Hypothetically Speaking || Seth & Matt

After his Dumb Supper, Seth sought out the castle’s resident “head bitch in charge” for a couple reasons. Heinrich made a good point that Matthew had a strong skill in commanding respect from many in Krovs. He didn’t necessarily like the fallen angel, but perhaps it wouldn’t hurt to see if he could learn a few tricks and tips to get in on some of that to survive around here. That, and with his general overseeing of the operations around the castle, Seth had another curious inquiry that required a conversation with Matt. 

It wasn’t hard to find Matt in his ironic angel costume, Seth uncertain how that was supposed to be “sexy” when so much skin was covered. Why the fuck did the castle give him that over...whatever. Not important. He skillfully walked up to the older man in his towering heels and cleared his throat. “Hypothetically speaking,” he started, “Would I be able to rent a second suite around here? Perhaps...a one-bedroom staff suite?”

Broken Glamour

After spending two painstakingly long days as a powerless human, Raphael hoped that whatever magic he’d be hit with next would be a little more interesting. The second spell that hit him completely broke his human glamour, revealing his true demonic form to all with no way to hide it. It was a far cry from the pretty face he usually wore, standing at nearly a full seven feet tall with broad muscles under dark, ashy skin. Long, thick horns sprouted from his head, and a thin tail emerged from the end of his spine, punctuated with a triangular tip. The tips of his fingers changed into long, hardened claws, and his dark eyes changed to blood red, blackness bleeding into the whites of them. For some, it might be quite the terrifying sight to see Raphael this way, though that was still the beauty of his incubus nature – he still exuded a natural charm in this form, and perhaps even more so now that it was completely untampered by his human glamour.

He had no shame walking through the castle this way, shirtless and barefoot because he’d never planned his closet for his unglamoured form. Magic tricks or not, his work still needed to be done, and he wasn’t about to let a little change of appearance stop him. Naturally, an extremely tall, devil-looking creature wandering the halls so casually still managed to catch quite a bit of attention. Raphael only smiled at the lingering eyes, revealing extra sharp fangs that glinted in the light. “Enjoying the view?”

Old Faces || Seth & Matthew

While Seth planned on keeping his visit to the castle incredibly brief, he promised to make an appearance at the anniversary party. He planned on leaving with Todd and Shade first thing in the morning...perhaps treat Shade with a trip to Aruba since he, once again, forgot it was Valentine’s Day. As much as he hated the castle, it was nice to see some of the familiar faces again around here that he’d befriended. Others, not so much. And then there was the neutral category that popped into his mind when the very devil himself arrived at the bar. 

“Matthew,” he greeted the fallen angel with a slight nod. It would have been about a 50% chance he would have even acknowledged the demon. Seth didn’t outright despise the other any more, choosing to let go of most of the past for his mental health. However, Matthew also happened to play a role behind Mathias’ council position and he had a few...concerns. “Still here, I see. How’ve you been?”

Honestly, he felt like he had been called to the principle’s office, or at least what he’d read to feel similar in deduction. Being called to the Chief of staff’s office wasn’t usually for a good reason. Sure he’d gotten in trouble a few times, took a few beatings here and there, hell, he still had the bruises to prove it. Yet he’d not gotten in trouble for a while. His collar had been adjusted, his bruises, though still pretty deep, were healing and it’d been a long while since a slave or guard had acted out of turn. Therefore he was left to continue the question as to why he was there. The elemental gave a sigh and leaned forward, his head drifted towards the door he would have to pass through. He’d been there about an hour and hadn’t thought to bring a book or anything to keep himself occupied so he simply stared.
