they're so good!! most people agree it kind of drags along the beginning / dead marshes parts but the prose and worldbuilding + wonderful little moments of humor are so good

so my sister's birthday is tomorrow (she's turning 19) and i was super stumped on what to get her. i wandered around osh until i found this glass jar thing with a lid. i'm going to give it to her empty and then we'll make a little terrarium out of it! i dont know if she'll want a cactus/dry one, or a mossy/wet one. (i'm hoping for the moss, then we could put dinosaur figurines in it)
