My middle name is actually procrastination. x - x-rays you’ve had: Megan: I’ve only had routine x-rays done on my teeth, but I did get an MRI once for my right shoulder. I had a softball injury from pitching and my rotator cuff was inflamed. Abigail: Just teeth. y - your favorite food: Megan: Tex-Mex. It will literally be the death of me.  Abigail: Pizza. And ice cream. And chocolate. And cookies. z - zodiac: Megan: Aquarius~ Abigail: Cancer.

Other weekdays, about 10:00 because work isn’t until noon. Weekends? I know for a fact I was up until 4am so you can bet your ass I’m sleeping in until at least 2pm. My schedule is wild. Abigail: School nights - Wake up around 7, go to bed around midnight. Every other night - who knows, it’s a free-for-all. Typically though I’m awake by 10, even if i stay up until like 5 or 6 the night before. text or call: Megan: It depends! Most of the time, I just sent a text. But if I need to tell you something quickly or know something quickly, I’m going to call you. Abigail: Texts met a celebrity: Megan: Voice actors, voice actors, voice actors. Also George Takei. Abigail: Voice actors, a few actors from Buffy and Doctor Who smile or eyes: Megan: [slimy grin] How about smiles that meet their eyes, heuheuheuh. Abigail: Both? Both. Both is good. light or dark hair: Megan: Uhhh I dunno, dark? Abigail: Meh. I’m ok with either but i suppose i prefer darker. shorter or taller: Megan: I’m hell short so everyone’s tall compared to me. Abigail: ^^^^ intelligence or attraction: Megan: Intelligence Abigail: Why not both? day or night: Megan: I guess night, but I you can’t appreciate one without the other.  Abigail: niiiight because thats literally the only time I get shit done. make up or au naturel: Megan: I put on makeup when I feel like it, but never much unless I’m going out. Abigail: natural because I’m a lazy shit. chapstick or lipstick: Megan: Chapstick because my lips are always dry and I fucking suck at lipstick. Abigail: Chapstick because yes my lips are always dry and its cheaper so I don’t freak out when i lose it. city or country: Megan: I love my current home with my parents in the country, but personally I’d probably like to live in the city. I don’t know. Being from Texas, you see a lot of open space so you learn to appreciate both. Abigail: Ehhh probably city. Although country does have the advantage of actually being able to see stars at night. Just so long as I don’t have to do a lot of driving i’m good either way.

what are your favourite things about the dbz fandom? if they made another movie, what would you like to see?

Megan: [rises from post-finals slumber] Thank you for these beautiful questions! I always get so freaking excited to talk about DBZ with you guys. Anyways!

Favorite things about the fandom? Oh gosh, there are so many things! Everyone is so freaking creative and nice and enthusiastic! I’ve never really been in a fandom before, like of course my interests fluctuate like crazy, but I’ve never taken the time to sit back and just have fun with others who share my interests. It really is amazing. There’s never been a second where I didn’t feel welcome to share my own thoughts or creativity. Everybody encourages each other to get involved. Sure, all fandoms have bad eggs here and there, but in the DBZ fandom they’re easy to drown out. Because for the most part, everyone is amazing! 

And oh man, another movie? Of course if they were going to put as much effort into it as they did with Battle of Gods and Resurrection F, I’d jump on that immediately. But I have no clue what I’d like to see. Because everything is new territory now, you know? (which is AMAZING oh my god I’m still not over it, new DBZ material you guys, IT’S BEEN SO LONG).

Honestly at this point, I’d watch a 2-hour slice of life movie. Or a giant, cliche anime beach episode. I just love these characters so much, I don’t care if they’re fighting or now. I am disappointed we missed out on some of Goku and Vegeta’s training (as well as Frieza’s). Neither Res F or DBS really covered that 4-month gap, leaving me with a lot of questions. (But then again, I have no idea how they’d make that a movie.)

Also? Saiyans. I wanna know more about the Saiyans. I’d watch a movie where the Queen of Vegeta was like…the head of this huge rebellion to take down Frieza, but then of course, everything ends in tragedy when Frieza blows up their planet. Still, Queen Vegeta yall. 

Abigail: Favorite things about the fandom…. well, creativity, for one thing. So many beautiful fanarts and fanvids and then the fanfiction?? With a source material that is already large and creative, with a following as large as it is, there is no real shortage of overall fantastic fanmade content. There’s just a lot of fun to be had. And I have to say I’m having a lot more fun being in the fandom now, compared to when I first got into it back when I was barely in high school - while the stuff that sort of push me out the first time around still exist, the resurgence of overall activity thanks to the new movies and Super makes it a lot easier to enjoy all the good stuff and not let the rest bug mei guess.

Speaking of movies, what would I want to see in a new movie? Well, considering we’ve got Super, I doubt a new movie would necessarily be a good idea, unless it focused on something other than the main characters. Megan mentioned a prequel that focused on the saiyans, and…yeah, I would really love to see something that focused on them before Frieza destroyed Planet Vegeta. I know we got a glimpse of it with Father of Goku and Dragon Ball Minus, but…both of those focused on Bardock, and take place right before their planet was destroyed. Maybe something that focuses on like the royals, or go back even further - maybe go into the legends of the saiyan people, like the first super saiyan or heck super saiyan god (did they know that they would create a god, however temporary, when they preformed that ritual for the first time? How did having that much power thrusted upon on someone who was likely significantly weaker than Goku when he went through the transformation affect them?).

If not that, then it’d be cool to see the characters go through stuff that we haven’t really seen done well yet - I remember seeing somewhere that one of the original ideas for Battle of Gods was to have all of Goku’s friends turn against him. Sure, it was sort of done already in GT, but… it’d be nice to be seen done again, either using the mind control thing and doing it better  or go about it differently, with them willingly turning their backs to him or somethin’. But, again, with Super being a thing, it might just be better to wish those things to happen in-show instead (especially if like…they make another movie focusing on the main cast and then Super decides that they need to re-do it as well. Don’t get me wrong, I like Super’s take on the new movies but… We’ve seen these stories before, hell Res F’s english dub came out after Super started airing, so like we literally just saw this plot.)

Idk, i say all this, but in all honesty if they make another movie I’d likely go see it as many times as I can, no matter the plot.
