What are you most passionate about?: probably words, in a very general way. i’ve always loved reading and writing. it was a struggle for me to learn how to read; i used to read up–down over left–right, and i had to have my mom move my finger for so long to be able to read correctly (my kindergarten teacher that lives right down the street from me still tells everyone the story of when i finally Got It of me coming into class and saying “I didn’t know I could read!”) once i could read, i consumed all the words i could. i would get in trouble the most growing up/still tbh for reading instead of going out with friends and playing, but i just love it. it developed into a love of writing, as well as my love for linguistics and how different languages and culture via languages have developed. that’s a long answer w/e i love merida/brave/EETS JUS’ MAH BOW
What you are best at in the kitchen?: baking. i took a culinary class last semester that i was there for like … half the semester and i was really fucking good at it but we were doing cooking. the chef that was teaching us said how he likes cooking more than baking because there’s so much more leeway with everything while baking is much more strict with recipes, but i love it. i love throwing it random hints within the structured recipes of baking that gives it my twist (note: usually cinnamon ngl). i also roll out a mean dough like no other and super fast, as long as you’re fine witht he fact that my forehad/hands/a whole bunch are going to be floured
