trees, yule, zeal

Hi! 

Trees - are you in school? What do you study?

Not in school, graduated uni about 7 years ago. I have a degree in Hospitality Management and also am a trained pastry chef. 

Yule - what’s one wish you have for this holiday season?

To be able to spend Christmas and New Year with my family. I haven’t been able to spend proper time with my brothers and their families for months, and I really miss my cousins. I just hope the case rate stabilises enough in my state for the restrictions to lift so we giant family can finally get together. 

Zeal - what is something you go all out for?

Catering for parties or anything of the like. You want me to make dinner? Fuck yeh I’ll make you a dinner. Need me to bring something to a bake sale? Fuck yeh I’ll bring it! One of my love languages is food. So yeh... If I love you, like you, care for you - I’m cooking you a meal.

I think I could go with the obvious, and say that 3 and Alistair would get along well with their friends as couples (like Yates and Benton, Liz and Pat, Jo and Cliff. Idk why but I always thought they'd get along well with Anne Travers and Will Bishop especially, but that might be because it's another scientist/soldier couple combo?) Hard to imagine couples outside of the UNIT era or even Doctor Who. Perhaps the Captain and Havers? I might be blinded by my love for the couple (and by the fact that I think Cap and Brig are pretty similar and therefore would make them get along in this case) because we don't even get to see much of what Havers was like

I’d imagine at first there is a great sense of defeat. With a mind warped from the ring the Pontiff gave her, she’d feel a failure as she comes to realize she’s been bested. After all the outrider knights are MAD BEASTS that are loyal to their abusive master. But within seconds there would come drifting memories of her life before. Of the friends that she’d once possessed, the family that had once adored her. She would - if capable - smile beneath that veil knowing that she was finally free. Able to join her friend Vordt in death and be at his side once more; to possibly see her brothers and others again as well. The way she collapses in defeat seems more human than beast in her boss fight; which leads me to believe that in the end she does regain some of her mind. Her body heaves forward and she collapses rather than simply topples over as Vordt does in his end moments. 

She is grateful. She is free.
