xavier stepped in closer, close enough that the mistletoe brushed his hair when he dipped his head. he splayed a palm against the doorway frame, the other settling on the small of raven's back to draw her in. the party noise behind him faded to white noise, just like it always did when he found his next fixation. and raven was already catnip. "if this is my one shot, you might as well hold still," he said, then bent to brush his lips against her cheekbone first, then found her mouth, hovering. just pausing just outside her space, letting her close the final distance if she wanted. power games, even under mistletoe. especially under mistletoe. "still want that kiss?" he asked, though his body was already tilting forward, already committing to whatever chaos this would bring.

   jane doesn’t go out often, which is probably why she’s accidentally drunk way past her limit. her head is all cloudy, and there’s a weird, warm feeling in her stomach that she fails to identify as nausea until it’s way too late to choke it back. as soon as she does realise, jane pushes her way out of the party to get outside, and near instantly drops to her knees and starts bringing up everything she’d had to eat today.

        she’d thought that she’d successfully sneaked out back unnoticed, but then she hears footsteps behind her. her stomach flips worse than it just had. “shit--” she turns to look behind her, wiping at her mouth with the back of her hand. “’m sorry. just-- i think i’ve just had a little too much.”
