Sanrio Hello Kitty Town

To all Hello Kitty lovers out there, you wouldn’t want to miss this... Hello Kitty is coming to town!!!

The first Sanrio theme park outside Japan, the Sanrio Hello Kitty Town is now here in Johor! As part of the Puteri Harbour Theme Park, Sanrio Hello Kitty Town is located at the first floor of the four-storey entertainment center. Talking about the Puteri Harbour Theme Park, it also has another attraction, Little Big Club which you can read it HERE.

Launched in 2012, Sanrio Hello Kitty Town has various interactive activities, walk-through attractions and a Hello Kitty-themed rides. The most famous attractions are the Black Wonder, Kitty House and the ‘Purrfect’ Stage.

Everyone will be handed an activity card when you enter the theme park and stamps can be collected for each activity completed.

Black Wonder is about solving mystery with clues to rescue Hello Kitty and Daniel that have been kidnapped. Poor Kitties were being locked up in the cell inside the castle. People have to solve puzzles and hunt for clues to pass on to the next stage and rescue Kitties. It is a high-tech interactive activity for both adults and children.

Kitty’s House is the home for Hello Kitty. It is equipped with 2 bedrooms, living room, kitchen, bathroom and the secret closet where everything is decorated in Kitty-style. This is the place where people will usually take lots of photos. If you are lucky, you might even bump into the home owners, Kitty and Mimmy! The house must be the dream for all Hello Kitty fans! Aren’t they just adorable??

The kitchen! There is even a rice cooker, a bread toaster and a water boiler, custom made for Kitty!

The bathroom! The blue bathtub is just so tempting!!

There is also a ‘Purrfect’ stage, where Hello Kitty and her friends, Little Twin Star and Melody will entertain people with their live performance at scheduled time daily. There will be a ‘Happy Carnival’ Street Parade too at certain time in a day. Besides, they will also teach the audience a few dance moves of the Hello Kitty dance! After the show, there will be handshake and photography session with Hello Kitty and her friends!

The daily entertainment schedule for the ‘Purrfect’ stage can be seen below. 

Moreover, at Wishful Studio, visitors can experience a lot of stuff such as nail art, jewelry making and throwing a costume party. You can even make your own Hello Kitty-shaped cookies at the cookie studio and make your own Hello Kitty doll. How amazing is that!! 

There is also a booth named Dream Photo Garden, which was specially designed for visitors to take photos with Hello Kitty.

At the Friendship Land, there are tea cup rides and playground for children but a lot of adults join in too. For those who wanted to celebrate birthday or special occasions, Apple or Strawberry themed party room would be a great option for them!

If you are feeling hungry after all these activities, head over to the Red Bow Café or Cinnamoroll Café to have some Hello Kitty shaped waffle and hot coffee! 

Last but not least, there is a Sanrio merchandise store on the ground floor. It is the biggest official Hello Kitty merchandise store in Malaysia. Needless to say, the store is filled with all kinds of Sanrio stuff and pretty souvenirs!

For your information, a new attraction, Hello Kitty in Oz will be launching soon in this theme park. Visitors can experience a fairy tale adventure through a story of friendship and bravery, along with Hello Kitty and Friends!
